Fourteenth day of March, Twenty-Hundred and Three CE – 33^rd of the Second Month, 04 IIC

AN ACT to legislate on the issue of Ibrosian National Parks

Should it be enacted by the will of the majority of the people of the Great Commonwealth of the Ibrosian Democracy, this Bill shall be passed into law with the particulars stated herein:

1. THE NATIONAL PARKS AUTHORITY – (1) There shall be a National Parks Authority operating under the Office of Environmental Affairs within the Great Commonwealth Ministry of the Interior.

(2) There shall be created subsections of the National Parks Authority, known as National Parks Agencies, which shall be administered by a similar department within the provincial governments.

(3) Ultimately, the administration of National Parks shall be within the authority of the National Executive.

(4) A National Parks Agency shall be created for the day to day administration of each National Park.

2. THE NATIONAL PARKS – (1) The creation of National Park status shall be made by the Minister of the Interior by statutory instrument to this Act.

(2) The status of National Park may not be repealed, save with the consent of the grande éhoi.

(3) In respect of the Niweilk Island Park (Redéke Island and Dependences) Act 2002, the said Island shall be declared to be the ‘Niweilk-T'krepomi National Park’.

15. SHORT TITLE, COMMENCEMENT AND EXTENT OF THIS ACT -- (1) This Act may be cited as the National Parks Act 2003

(2)This act shall come into effect upon the passing by the éhoi and authorisation by the Returning Officer.

(3) This Act extends to:

(a) The Great Commonwealth

(b) All provincial administrations concerned, as stated by the Minister of the Interior in statutory instrument to this Act, under the terms of Section 2(1).
