Official Statement of His Highness, The Grand Duke of Nova Britannia 14th of May 2002 AM Hear ye, Hear ye, It is at the pleasure of His Highness, the Grand Duke of Nova Britannia that the following statement be placed before his subjects: It is my pleasure to announce the passage of the Declaration of the Grand Duchy of Nova Britannia. This province of the Ibrosian Democracy is now officially recognised, by the provincial and commonwealth authorities, as a monarchist province. I wish to than my subjects for their continued loyalty, to myself, their province and their country – these actions shall not go unrecognised. I also wish to thank the Great Commonwealth Government for their continued support, especially through my Governor-Lieutenant and the Senators of this fine province. Let it be known that I shall endeavour to be a fair and just monarch, and do my utmost to serve my loyal subjects in all manners. Therefore, I hereby proclaim this day, the Fourteenth of May to be a provincial holiday, in this year and for all other years within my reign. “Rule Britannia” “Long
