Article I
All dates set forth in Article II shall be considered National Holidays.
Article II
1st January - New Year's Day 28th January - Empire Day February, Last Tuesday therein- Pancake Tuesday 1st May - International Labour (May) Day 26th July - Independence Day 15th August - Standard Day 18th September - Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) 22nd September - Gardiner Day 31st October - Halloween Saturday nearest 5th November - Guy Fawkes Day/Bonfire Night 11th November - Constitution Day First Monday in December - Winter Holiday 25th December - Christmas Day 26th December - Charity Day 31st December - Reflection Day
and Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth’s Official State Birthday as declared by Her Majesty’s Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, to be known as British Day.
Article III
The éhoi, Wéthenágemoté and the National Executive, with the exception of essential services shall vacate their employment for the first two weeks of July, beginning on the first Monday of that month and from December 24th to January 3rd.
Article IV
The exception to Article III shall be emergency sessions of Parliament and meetings of the Office of Emergency Measures and Ministry of Defence.
Article V
On all days specified in Article II the Ibrosian national flag shall be flown from all government offices and buildings, and all government property which has a flag staff.
Article VI
On British Day, the Royal Union Flag shall be flown in all areas with two or more staffs. It shall never be seen in an inferior or superior position to the National Flag.
Article V
On Empire Day and Gardiner Day, the Peoples’ Republic of the Dave Empire flag and Sir Gardiner’s personal standard may be flown respectively, and may be place in an inferior position to the National Flag, but shall be discouraged.
Article VI
Voluntary flag-flying on holidays is at the discretion of the Prime Minister or of a Minister or Director-General of a Ministry or Office of Government.
